Terms and Conditions

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:

 You have 48 hours from the time of reservation to cancel a trip for a full refund. After 48hours, the trip deposit – and all future payments – are non-refundable.  We highly recommend you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes trip cancellation coverage that includes a “Cancel for Any Reason” option to cover your non-refundable trip. Trip cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses should you cancel your trip for any reason, whether voluntarily or as a result of That’s Joy’s actions.

TRANSFER POLICY

  You can transfer your trip to another traveler by notifying us via email.  There is a one-time transfer fee of $99. Name changes after 30 days are not allowed. Due to contractual supplier policies, we may not be able to confirm requested name changes to existing reservations for trips that are scheduled to travel within 30 days of your request.
Please don’t consider your change requests official until you receive a confirmation email from That’s Joy!

ITINERARY CHANGE

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

TRIP CANCELLATION FOR REASONS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

 In the rare event that it becomes necessary to cancel the trip for reasons beyond our control, such as terrorism, strikes, acts of governments, pandemics, weather, etc. we will reschedule the trip. If you are unable to attend the new dates, we will offer refunds in a queue based on the reservations date as we fill your spot, but we cannot guarantee a refund. Your travel insurance should cover these circumstances should they occur.

DAMAGES

  We accept no responsibility for accidents, damage, baggage losses, delays and/or accidental expenses due to weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of governments or authorities, criminal acts committed by third parties, civil disturbances, riots, strikes, sickness, quarantine, defects of vehicles or breakdown in the equipment, or to the fault or default of any company used for carrying out these packages. Regarding any and all services and accommodations furnished, we expressly disclaim all responsibility or liability over any matter whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or expense to property or person due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the duration of the trip or otherwise. All such losses or expenses will be borne by the passengers.

PASSPORT AND VISA

Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up-to-date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for all That’s Joy! Experiences will apply.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE 

 Photography and video of the trip activity is taken throughout the experience and shared with clients post trip. By participating on this trip or at this event you are giving That’s Joy!; its representatives and employees the right to use photographs, video, and testimony given by you during any That’s Joy! Experience.  That’s Joy! will not disclose your name online or in printed media without additional expressed written consent.

Additional Conditions

 Each individual, including each child, who attends a That’s Joy! Experience is required to have a confirmed reservation prior to the start date of the trip. If you do not book and pay for each such person in advance of the trip, you will be charged the hotel’s then-current rate, not the trip’s advertised rate, for each non-confirmed person at the time of your check-in.
